Glencoe The Cell Mug

The cell is the basic structure for all forms of life on Earth. Covering Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells, this design covers some of the key functions within the main types of cell, with particular reference to the different organelles, all drawn in bright colors.

This oversized mug, named after one of the greatest Glens in Scotland ‘Glencoe’, is one of Dunoon’s oldest shapes, yet remains one of their most striking. It has a great presence and the informative and educational patterns have remained the most popular designs on this shape. It has a flared top and a strong, comfortable handle so it feels very solid to hold.

Your mugs are Dishwasher safe but we recommend modest use, as the caustic nature of dishwasher detergents can cause colors to fade over a period of time. Hand wash where possible.

If your mug contains metallic decoration we strongly advise hand washing only.

Your mugs are Microwave safe unless the design contains metallic elements such as gold or platinum in the decoration. 

To care for the glazed finish, avoid abrasive and metallic cleaning products.

To prevent possible cracking, pour the hot water over the back of a teaspoon, or add milk first.
